Die Pumplampe erzeugt sehr starke Lichtblitze, die die Atome des aktiven Mediums stark beeinflussen. An den R\u00e4ndern des Rubinstabs befinden sich Spiegel, von denen einer teilweise transparent und der andere reflektierend ist. Diese Spiegel verursachen Mehrfachreflexionen im aktiven Medium, und der verst\u00e4rkte Laserstrahl tritt durch den transparenten Spiegel aus.<\/p>\n<p>Solch <strong>Laserschneidmaschinen <\/strong>Sie sind sehr praktisch f\u00fcr die Bearbeitung von Metall, werden aber nicht f\u00fcr nichtmetallische Materialien verwendet.
