Le joint de soudure doit \u00eatre suffisamment r\u00e9sistant pour \u00e9viter toute fragilit\u00e9. Parfois\u00a0 <strong>soudage de l&#039;acier \u00e0 faible teneur en carbone <\/strong>Des exigences sont impos\u00e9es quant \u00e0 la r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la corrosion des joints soud\u00e9s. Ils sont produits par d\u00e9soxydation incompl\u00e8te de l&#039;acier au mangan\u00e8se. Expos\u00e9 \u00e0 basse temp\u00e9rature, cet acier devient cassant. Apr\u00e8s soudage, il peut vieillir dans la zone affect\u00e9e thermiquement.<\/p>\n<h2>Ils sont devenus calmes<\/h2>\n<p>Les aciers calm\u00e9s contiennent au moins 0,12% de silicium (Si). Ils sont obtenus par d\u00e9soxydation de l&#039;acier avec du silicium, du mangan\u00e8se et de l&#039;aluminium. Leur r\u00e9partition en soufre et en phosphore est uniforme. Ils sont moins sensibles \u00e0 la chaleur et moins sujets au vieillissement.<\/p>\n<h2>Acier semi-silencieux<\/h2>\n<p>Ce type d&#039;acier pr\u00e9sente des caract\u00e9ristiques interm\u00e9diaires entre celles des aciers calmes et des aciers bouillants. Les aciers au carbone sont produits en trois nuances de qualit\u00e9 ordinaire.<\/p>\n<p>Les aciers du groupe A ne sont pas utilis\u00e9s pour le soudage\u00a0; ils sont d\u00e9sign\u00e9s en fonction de leurs propri\u00e9t\u00e9s m\u00e9caniques. La lettre \u00ab\u00a0A\u00a0\u00bb n&#039;est pas incluse dans la d\u00e9signation de l&#039;acier, par exemple \u00ab\u00a0St2\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Les aciers des groupes B et V sont class\u00e9s selon leurs propri\u00e9t\u00e9s chimiques et m\u00e9caniques respectives. La d\u00e9signation du groupe d&#039;acier est pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9e des lettres BSt2 et BSt3.<\/p>\n<p>Les aciers semi-calm\u00e9s de nuances 3 et 5 peuvent \u00eatre fournis avec une teneur en mangan\u00e8se accrue. Ces aciers sont d\u00e9sign\u00e9s par la lettre G apr\u00e8s la d\u00e9signation de la nuance (par exemple, BSt3Gps).<\/p>\n<p>Pour la fabrication de structures critiques, il convient d&#039;utiliser des aciers ordinaires du groupe B.
