Cosa determina la scelta del diametro dell&#039;elettrodo? Il fattore principale per la scelta del diametro \u00e8 lo spessore del metallo da saldare, ma \u00e8 necessario tenere conto anche del tipo di giunto di saldatura, della forma dei bordi da preparare per la saldatura, della posizione spaziale del giunto e della composizione chimica del metallo da saldare. La qualit\u00e0 del giunto di saldatura dipende dalla corretta selezione degli elettrodi.<\/p>\n<p>Per le saldature di testa in posizione discendente, il diametro dell&#039;elettrodo viene selezionato in base allo spessore del metallo, utilizzando la seguente tabella:<\/p>\n<p>Spessore del metallo, mm \/ Diametro dell&#039;elettrodo, mm<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1-2 millimetri \/ 1,6-2<\/li>\n<li>3-5 millimetri \/ 2,5-3<\/li>\n<li>6-11 millimetri \/ 4-5<\/li>\n<li>12-24 millimetri \/ 5-6<\/li>\n<li>25 mm o pi\u00f9 \/ 6 mm o pi\u00f9<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00c8 importante notare che l&#039;uso di elettrodi di diametro superiore a 6 mm \u00e8 limitato a causa della loro grande massa. Inoltre, con tali elettrodi \u00e8 difficile effettuare una corretta saldatura di fondo.<\/p>\n<p>Nella saldatura di metalli fino a 4 mm di spessore, i bordi solitamente non vengono smussati e la saldatura viene eseguita in un unico strato. Se il metallo da saldare \u00e8 pi\u00f9 spesso, i bordi vengono smussati per garantire una giunzione di alta qualit\u00e0 e la saldatura \u00e8 multistrato. Nelle giunzioni di testa multistrato, il primo strato viene realizzato con un elettrodo di 2-3 mm di diametro, o meno comunemente, con un elettrodo di 4 mm, e gli strati successivi vengono realizzati con elettrodi di diametro maggiore.<\/p>\n<p>Per i giunti saldati a T, angolari e sovrapposti, nella scelta del diametro dell&#039;elettrodo si applica la seguente regola:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Per i collegamenti realizzati in una sola passata si utilizzano elettrodi con un diametro di 2-6 mm, a seconda dello spessore del metallo (vedere l&#039;elenco sopra).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Per le giunzioni multistrato, il primo strato \u00e8 realizzato con elettrodi da 2-3 mm. Pi\u00f9 critica \u00e8 la struttura, minore \u00e8 il diametro dell&#039;elettrodo utilizzato, il che favorisce una buona passata di radice, riduce il riscaldamento del metallo base e quindi riduce lo stress e la deformazione della saldatura.<\/p>\n<p>Alcuni esperti raccomandano di tenere conto delle dimensioni di saldatura richieste quando si realizzano giunti a T e angolari. Per un gambo da 3-5 mm, utilizzare un elettrodo da 3-4 mm, mentre per un gambo da 6-8 mm, utilizzare un elettrodo da 4-5 mm.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>La saldatura verticale viene eseguita con elettrodi di diametro non superiore a 5 mm. La saldatura sopratesta viene eseguita con elettrodi di diametro non superiore a 4 mm.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Allo stesso tempo, ogni saldatore dovrebbe essere consapevole che lo spessore del metallo non \u00e8 sempre l&#039;unico criterio nella scelta del diametro dell&#039;elettrodo. I saldatori esperti sanno che la scelta del diametro dell&#039;elettrodo dipende dal tipo di giunto, dalla posizione e da altri fattori. La corretta selezione del diametro dell&#039;elettrodo contribuisce a ottenere saldature di alta qualit\u00e0.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2073
