La superficie viene riscaldata alla temperatura richiesta, alla quale il gas che fuoriesce dall&#039;ugello si infiamma rapidamente sulla superficie metallica.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0Taglio gas-elettrico <\/strong>dovrebbe essere svolto a distanza, poich\u00e9 vi sono diverse ragioni per cui ci\u00f2 avviene:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>vengono utilizzati gas compressi e idrogeno, possono formare una miscela esplosiva;<\/li>\n<li>viene utilizzata corrente ad alta tensione, che \u00e8 anche pericolosa,<\/li>\n<li>vengono utilizzati compressori e macchine elettriche che eseguono movimenti rotatori;<\/li>\n<li>l&#039;effetto di un arco, che produce calore e intense radiazioni luminose; vengono liberati vapori e gas nocivi, nonch\u00e9 pericolosi schizzi di metallo fuso.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\t<!--<div class='top-banner-pages'>\t\n\n\t<\/div>--->\n\t\n<p>Per garantire la sicurezza sul posto di lavoro vengono utilizzati speciali tappetini dielettrici di sicurezza per l&#039;isolamento da terra e guanti dielettrici. <strong>taglio gas-elettrico <\/strong>\u00c8 importante ricordare che tagliare gli angoli ad alta velocit\u00e0 comporta perdite di processo, il che \u00e8 indesiderabile perch\u00e9 il contorno del pezzo tagliato risulta distorto. La velocit\u00e0 massima \u00e8 ottimale per un taglio rettilineo e continuo. Una velocit\u00e0 ridotta \u00e8 necessaria quando si taglia un contorno chiuso, con conseguente ritardo minimo e migliore qualit\u00e0 di taglio.<\/p>\n<p>Di recente, alcuni metodi si sono diffusi <strong>taglio gas-elettrico dei metalli - <\/strong>Tra queste, l&#039;arco ad aria, l&#039;arco al plasma e il taglio al plasma. Questi metodi sono piuttosto promettenti e consentono il taglio di molti metalli e delle loro leghe con elevata qualit\u00e0.<\/p>\n\n<!---<div class='top-banner-pages'>\n\n<\/div>-->\n\n\t\n<p>Questo metodo di taglio utilizza plasma a bassa temperatura, tipicamente prodotto da un arco elettrico, da cui il nome &quot;plasma ad arco&quot;. La scarica ad arco elettrico funge da fonte di energia termica ed \u00e8 caratterizzata da un&#039;elevata densit\u00e0 di corrente e da una tensione relativamente bassa. La temperatura dell&#039;arco, generata dal gas, \u00e8 di 4000-5000 \u00b0C.<sup>0<\/sup>C. Un tale gas \u00e8 solitamente chiamato plasma a bassa temperatura, poich\u00e9 contiene un numero enorme di particelle cariche positivamente e negativamente e il loro rapporto \u00e8 tale che la carica totale \u00e8 zero.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Taglio dei metalli a gas-elettrico <\/strong>\u00c8 ampiamente utilizzato per la sua efficienza operativa, poich\u00e9 questo tipo di taglio consente di
