Entre eles, est\u00e3o a soldagem a g\u00e1s, a arco voltaico, a plasma e outros. A soldagem termomec\u00e2nica refere-se aos processos de soldagem que utilizam energia t\u00e9rmica e press\u00e3o. Entre eles, est\u00e3o a soldagem por difus\u00e3o e a soldagem por resist\u00eancia. A soldagem que utiliza energia mec\u00e2nica \u00e9 chamada de soldagem mec\u00e2nica. Exemplos incluem soldagem por explos\u00e3o, soldagem a frio, soldagem por fric\u00e7\u00e3o e soldagem ultrass\u00f4nica. Envolve a fus\u00e3o de bordas met\u00e1licas com um arco el\u00e9trico, o que gera calor intenso e derrete o metal. Existem v\u00e1rios tipos de soldagem:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Soldagem a arco manual. Realizada com eletrodos consum\u00edveis e n\u00e3o consum\u00edveis.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>A soldagem com eletrodo consum\u00edvel \u00e9 um m\u00e9todo cl\u00e1ssico de soldagem em que o eletrodo derrete e a borda da pe\u00e7a forma uma po\u00e7a de metal fundido. Ap\u00f3s o resfriamento, forma-se uma solda;<\/li>\n<li>Um eletrodo n\u00e3o consum\u00edvel, de carbono ou grafite, forma um arco entre a pe\u00e7a de trabalho e o metal de adi\u00e7\u00e3o, criando uma po\u00e7a de metal l\u00edquido que ent\u00e3o se solidifica. \u00c9 usado para soldar metais n\u00e3o ferrosos.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Soldagem a arco submerso semiautom\u00e1tica e autom\u00e1tica.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>O arco \u00e9 alimentado mecanicamente e ent\u00e3o movido ao longo do contorno especificado das bordas a serem soldadas. O fluxo protege a solda da exposi\u00e7\u00e3o externa ao oxig\u00eanio.
